POPULAR DISH

It is very difficult to pick out the most popular dish, as all of the dishes are presented in the utmost care and respect of deliciousness! Currently the cheese fondue is the most sought delight. The menu is full of some classic French treats like soupe à l'oignon, quiches, and charcuterie (cold cuts) & fromages (cheeses). The cheese plates are easy to share and provide a true cheese tasting experience. Plus every party is served with a basket of French bread and crackers that is generously filled at no extra charge - it goes perfect with the cheese plate!

UNIQUE DISH

Some of the unique dishes they serve include the lamb burger, the croquet monsieur (a classic hot French sand which of ham and cheese) and the frites aux truffes (french fries tossed in white truffle oil). There is also a chef's specials menu that changes every few days and always brings an added opportunity for unique entrées.

DRINKS

This is the killer part of monsieur marcel - the wine list! Talk about wine tasting, this is the spot in the farmer's market to sip a glass of wine. The wine list includes champagnes, reds, whites, ports, sweet wines and rosé wines. They carry bottles from France, Spain, Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand. This part can get very expensive but it is always an experience to have a great glass of wine paired well with a meal.

SEATING

They have a bar with bar top chairs and about 50-60 two top tables, easily arranged to accommodate parties larger than four.

AMBIENCE/CLIENTELE

This is an awesome spot in the heart of the farmer's market that nestles under a big tree in front of the Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market. It sets itself apart from the other farmer's market's food stands with waiter service and french café antiquity but maintains the casual open air dining found throughout the bustling historical farmer's market. The ambiance is kind of romantic, mostly friendly and always relaxing. The clientele is the usual farmer's market's eclectic crowd that keeps even the appetite of the eyes fulfilled!
