Regina's Original North End Recipe is a thin-crust Neapolitan masterwork cooked in a fiery hot brick oven and made fresh to order, the kind with cheesy crust-bubbles, the kind for which you'll happily risk the roof of your mouth to take an immediate fi rst bite. Fresh ingredients and subtle seasonings go into every pie, which has been lovingly "stretched" and "painted," then cooked to your specifi cation: light-cooked, regular, or well done; toppings run the gamut from olives and artichokes to jalapeño peppers and marinated
steak.

AMBIENCE/CLIENTELE
Classic wooden booths with coat hooks; a 106-year-old brick oven; pizza boxes piled floor-to-ceiling and old-time Regina's photos and paraphernalia; a capacity crowd eats and talks noisily, while a line curls from the front stairs on down the street.
Extras/Notes
No reservations, and with this reputation, expect at least a 30-minute wait. Regina's has often been copied but nothing beats the original.
